StatSports FIFA Approved GPS Tracker is worn by athletes, giving users and their team in-depth statistics of their performance during sport. Although StatSport caters to some of the world’s biggest teams and greatest athletes, they wanted to bring their innovative technology to smaller clubs and local sportspeople through the use of video for use on social channels and also internally as an asset for the sales team.

Many smaller, local teams tend to play on a part-time basis so initially we had the challenge of scheduling into their training sessions, crucially without disrupting their performance or athletic rhythm. Our plan was to capture a comprehensive range of testimonials, player interviews and b-roll footage, all within a tight but carefully managed timeframe.

We worked closely with the StatSports marketing team in order to create a clear brief for each team we would be visiting. Our creatives then liaised with team coaches in order to schedule a shoot day where we captured content without interrupting the teams training session. Our editing team then took the footage from each session and communicated with the project stakeholders throughout the editing process.

Each video for StatSport tells a story of great athleticism made better by their product. The content was perfected for multi-platform use and encapsulates different elements and styles of videography, from interviews to action shots, including footage of the Super Cup NI, the IFA and footage with the NI Ladies team.
